Destination Stromsburg

The Res Q Shoppe is a thrift store located on the south side of the city square, run by volunteers, and open Tuesday through Friday each week from 10:00-4:00.

 

The store was first opened in 1976. Good used items were sold at affordable prices and hand quilting was done as a major service for townspeople and others. The quilting became a large part of the Res Q Shoppe’s business. It was discontinued in 2012, but the store still offers quality, gently used items for sale.

 

All money from sales is returned to the community, school and local organizations for use in whatever way it is needed.

Clean, usable donations are welcome and accepted during business hours.
